The Ghana Data Science Summit 2024 (IndabaX Ghana) is an annual event focused on data science and machine learning. It is the 5th anniversary of this conference.

The Data Science Network is a team of data science and machine learning researchers and professionals committed to building capacity and promoting research and the application of analytics (broadly defined) in Ghana.
Our team is multifaceted and possesses wide-ranging skills and experiences in academia and industry in the areas of data management, business analytics, predictive modelling, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. Our team members include professors, researchers (including students), statisticians, and data scientists and engineers (including machine learning engineers), working in several areas such as retail, finance, risk management, economics, healthcare, agriculture, and many more.

The conference will be held at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology (KNUST) from July 17th to July 19th, 2024.

The application deadline for conference participants and organizers of workshops/ demos was Sunday, March 31, 2024, at 11:59 pm GMT.

No, admission is free, but participation is subject to acceptance by the Organizing team.

The conference is a three-day event with Workshops & Tutorial Day, Research Showcase Day, and Industry & Networking Day.
There are also opportunities for poster presentations and travel awards for those outside Kumasi.

While we don't provide direct accommodation or travel funds, we do offer a limited number of travel awards for participants coming from outside Kumasi. These travel awards are designed to help offset some of the expenses associated with attending the Ghana Data Science Summit - IndabaX Ghana 2024.
We recommend exploring local accommodation options in Kumasi to ensure a comfortable stay during the event. Your participation in our 5th-anniversary celebration is highly valued, and we aim to make it accessible to as many passionate individuals as possible.
Conference participants who have been granted travel grants have been informed via email.
