Joseph is the co-founder and CEO of Boost Ghana, a Ghanaian tech start-up and founding franchise of
Boost Technology. Boost is on a mission of helping 10 million informal small and medium enterprises thrive in Africa’s digital economy. Boost Ghana operates an intelligent chat-based mobile stock ordering platform which helps retailers find the best suppliers with the best prices and deliver to their stores. It embeds inventory financing in its service offerings to allow informal retailers access essential working capital to grow their businesses.
Joseph has more than 15 years of leadership experience across banking, fintech, telecoms and market research. His experience covers several countries in Anglophone West, East and Southern Africa. He is passionate about the use of data, customer insights and inclusive technology to create commercial value and achieve sustainable impact in Africa’s large informal sector.
Joseph has an EMBA in Marketing and a BA in Economics and Statistics from the University of Ghana. He is a member of the American Statistical Association (ASA) and the Institute of Business Advisors Southern Africa (IBASA). He currently lives in Accra with his wife and daughter. When not working, he enjoys talking to young people about the love and power of God in church, high schools, and prisons.
