Rosy is an award-winning business and change leader with over a decade’s wealth of experience across the technology, financial services, consulting and insurance industries. She is currently the CEO of Busy Internet where she is spearheading the company’s digital transformation. Prior to that she was the General Manager of Busy, a microinsurance company.
Rosy was the Marketing Director of Airtel Ghana, where she also had full responsibility over Customer Experience and Airtel Money. Before joining Airtel, Rosy played a key role in the successful launch of Surfline Communications, Ghana’s first and Africa’s largest 4G LTE provider. Rosy also had an illustrious career at Millicom International Cellular (Tigo) where she started out as a Commercial Executive and after several promotions, was appointed to the role of Chief Marketing Officer and subsequently the Head of Brands for all of Tigo’s Africa operations
Earlier in her career, she worked in the consulting and financial services industries in New York with Booz & Company, JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs.
Rosy is also a member of the Archbishop Tutu Fellowship programme, a programme focused on identifying, nurturing and equipping Africa’s elite future leaders with tools to address Africa’s challenges. Rosy holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a BA (honors) in Computer Science and Mathematics from Smith College, Massachusetts, USA.
