Pius Kwao Gadosey is a fulltime lecturer at The Lancaster University Ghana campus where he teaches Artificial Intelligence and Databases at their Computer Science Department. He has also taught courses like Machine learning and Computer Vision at Academic City University College and Ashesi University respectively. He obtained his PhD in Deep Learning and Computer Vision at the Beijing University of Science and Technology (BJUT). His current research interest is in determining more efficient and less expensive ways in developing and applying artificial intelligence in healthcare and agriculture. He is also a co-founder and the lead facilitator of the STEMR club, an initiative that has in the past year provided free coding and robotics training to underprivileged kids at the Junior High School level in collaboration with the KKN (Kofi KariKari Nti) foundation and the Ghana Education Service.
